Can my employer make me work from home with a medical excuse from work?
I have surgery scheduled for June for carpal tunnel release and a shoulder impingement. I have been experiencing a great deal of pain in my neck and left arm. My doctor found that I have now developed tennis elbow and tension in the neck. I was requested to seek physical therapy and take 2 weeks off of work. I have made appointments for physical therapy and pain management. My sales manager called to tell me he wants me to work from home and make my sales calls "20-30" per day via phone and complete my orders as usual by entering them in my computer. I am already struggling with pain and was hoping to be able to manage my medical issue with pain management. Sales in WI
