Carpal tunnel syndrome?

i did this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuCjuLOSFK8 test and i feel almost nothing .Then i put ice on my carpal for 15 minutes and i try again. WOAOY ..I feel every touch/hit . My finger response to any small or big hit. Is this a sign for carpal problem? I forget....My hands pain when i play guitar.
