Will carpal tunnel come back if I have surgery?
Yes, If you do not change what you are doing that caused the carpal tunnel then it can. The problem with Carpal Tunnel is that most people who have carpal tunnel are not diagnosed by the time that the disease has become chronic and you are in so much pain. Often times they go back to the same job and no modification are made in their work environment. So yes, it can come back. You don't need surgery but it is would be a up hill to fight the disease. Go on Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Homepage and try doing the exercises they offer. Do not do any exercises suggested off this site as they don't have pictures attached to them. Pictures promote proper usage and modeling. You can get injured or experience additional pain. I would have the minor surgery and work on changing my environment
