I've liked her since preschool. but i don't know what to do?

There is this girl i've liked since preschool and she used to be one of my sister's best friend. Now she's not but I still like her but I feel like she barely knows that I exist now. How do I get her to notice me other than the obvious 'walking up and talking to her' because im extremely shy.
