Is this carpal tunnel?

I am 25 yrs. old and have been a dog groomer for 5 years. Back in November 2010, I had an injury to my hand while at work. I was combing out a dog, which is very repetitive and had shooting pains in my left hand through the middle of the wrist. Since then my left hand has about 50% of the strength that the right one does. I have numbness in both hands at night. My left forearm is constantly swollen. I also have two very small ganglion cysts on my wrist. I experience a cramp like pain in my hand often while I am at work. I was sent to have the needle EEG test for carpal tunnel and my results came back as normal. I am also currently taking 15mg of Meloxicam once a day for the inflammation. Could this still be carpal tunnel? I am awaiting another appointment with my orthopedic doctor. Thanks in advance for your help.
