Maybe some advice can help?

I've asked before about carpal tunnel syndrome with playing your instrument and if it's possible stop some of the pain and I know that you should limit yourself down on the main cause of the problem. Well, I've been testing for the past week, so I haven't been practicing at all, school or home, and it seems like everything is getting worse. The sharp, stabbing/stretching/aching pain in my fingers and wrists are all in my arms and shoulders. When I push on the my arms, it feels like there's a bunch of bruises on it and the sharp pain shoots all the way up into my shoulders and fingers. Lately I haven't been able to hold things without dropping them, which has me really scared. I'm only 14 and the risk of carpal tunnel syndrome isn't very high according to research, but what else could this be? And what can make the pain stop? I wear a splint every day, but it's not working so great. Help would be very much appreciated.
