Swollen feet/hands + carpal tunnel pain at only 20 weeks & 3 days pregnant with #2?

Is swelling normal this early on? With my first daughter I started swelling when I was like 32+ weeks pregnant. Thats a good 12 weeks from now. If its not normal, what kind of worries me is that at 16 weeks and 18 weeks, they did a urinalysis and both times were negative for a urinary tract infection, but both times also had too much protein in them. Which is an indicator of preeclampsia. Swelling and high blood pressure are also signs, but so far they have been good. Except now, I'm swelling just a bit. My aunt had to deliver because she had preeclampsia. Any experience or advice?
