What would win in a fight a golf club or a bat?

me and my brother are having a bet. and he says if a robber ever came into are house the weopen that he would take would be a bat but i think the golf club because it is faster and more lightweight and i think it can get the done by getting him unconscious but he thinks the bat bc it is heavier and can do more damage which one do u think is right?
