I am experiencing carpal tunnel in my hands but have same sensations in other places?

i am coming up to my 18th week in pregnancy and i am experiencing symptoms of carpal tunnel in my hand, but also have numbness, similar to pins and needle in my groin, is this normal? or am i just weird?
